Overview
This is easier than you will imagine. However, experience has shown that the most successful implementations are those that are Operations led rather than a Finance department driven one (or at least a joint implementation).
Some of our clients have started initially with making the Company Intranet available to all their outlets followed by a staged roll out of the process modules, whilst others have gone for the ‘big bang’ approach with all outlets commencing with all modules from day 1. Other clients have started with a pilot scheme for a few outlets and have used this period to assess any bespoke development required. The choice is yours.
Fit analysis
This is the starting point and involves a visit to your head office to review your existing process and documentation with your key executives. From this we can identify the tailoring required (that’s included in our charges) and any bespoke customisation required (that requires an additional charge).
Tailoring (included in our charges)
This relates to database changes such as new job titles for staff records, new outlet names, account codes, purchasing categories, income departments & categories, period ends, reasons for leaving, staff absence reasons, and training programme names. Changes to tailoring can be made by our Support Desk instantly or by you via an Administration tool.
Bespoke Customisation (at an additional charge)
This relates to non standard reports (or edits to standard ones), changes to the standard CSV format, or new tools or new modules. These are charged at an hourly development rate and a quote can be quickly provided. No chargeable work will be undertaken without written authority. |
