It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of our founder and managing director, Mike Day.

Mike started working in hospitality at a young age and has a wealth of experience in hotels and catering. In 1991, Mike and his business partner Lou Willcock founded Customised Contract Catering, which they sold to Granada plc in 1999. In 2000, at the start of the dotcom era, Mike and Lou launched IndiCater having identified an opportunity to help contract caterers move away from managing their businesses in excel.

Fast-forward two decades later and IndiCater has an amazing team, an excellent product that is continuously being updated and enhanced, and clients from all areas of hospitality, including some that we are proud to still be partnered with after more than 17 years.

The whole IndiCater team wishes to thank Mike for his tireless years of work. We are so proud of you and wish you a happy and fulfilling retirement. Congratulations!

To guide us on our continued journey, it is our pleasure to also announce that Ruth Mills is being promoted to the role of Managing Director from 1st October. Ruth has been a key part of the team for the past 8 years and has exciting plans to further evolve IndiCater in supporting our clients as they increase their efficiencies and reduce costs.
